Frequently Asked Questions

And other things you may want to know…

How do I get started?

On the Connect page, please submit your availability through the contact form to schedule an appointment.  Alternatively, feel free to visit my Psychology Today page or my provider profile on Alma to reach out.

Where are you located?

I am conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan at Alma: 515 Madison Avenue, 21st floor. The entrance is on 53rd Street, right off Madison Avenue. I am also located at the Institute for Behavior Therapy: 20 East 49th Street, 2nd floor, between Madison and 5th Avenue.

How long are sessions, and how often would we meet?

Sessions are 45 minutes long, conducted either at the Alma location or at the Institute for Behavior Therapy. Sessions take place once a week - depending on your needs, we may be able to meet more frequently.

What is your fee?

Fees are typically discussed when we connect to arrange a session.  I do offer limited sliding scale appointments based on ability to pay. Payment will be collected each session, and invoices will be provided at the end of the month. If I am unable to accommodate your needs, I will try my best to help you find another therapist.

What type of payments do you accept?  Do you take insurance?

Payments may be made by cash, check, or credit card on a session basis.  I do not bill insurance but would be happy to provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Prior to your appointment, please inquire with your insurance company to find out details about your out-of-network coverage and deductible.
